  • Detect and communicate equipment abnormalities including leaks, vibration, excessive heat, wear, misalignment, and unusual noise; initiate work requests and corrective actions when required.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and accurately complete all required documentation and packaging records.
  • Verify proper package sealing, coding accuracy, labeling compliance, and adherence to no mixed-label standards.
  • Follow Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and all safety requirements before performing work on equipment.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, defect elimination, centerlining activities, and continuous improvement initiatives that support Lean Manufacturing and SQCD performance.

What you’ll need to be successful.

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop technical competency in equipment operation and operator-care activities.
  • Ability to perform basic equipment inspections, identify abnormal conditions, and complete operator-care tasks as trained and authorized.

  • Ability to work a night shift schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials as required.
