Pay: $27.55 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour (if applicable) Hiring Bonus: $2500 Shift & Working Hours: 11:00 AM to7:00 PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.
Job Description:
The relief intake operator is the front-line employee who will properly receive incoming milk loads, perform necessary screening tests, transfer milk to manufacturing, prepare milk loads for shipment for outside sales, wash and sanitize milk trucks, holding tanks and receiving lines. Properly maintain paperwork and other documentation of these tasks. Work with the drivers bringing in milk to ensure they follow Kiel Intake policies and are properly cleaning the equipment under their control.
EDUCATON:
High School Diploma or GED, preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
6 plus months of solid work experience in any industry
Basic computer skills
Ability to follow manufacturer's specifications and direction
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
18 years or older
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Work in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day
Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision
Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks
Customer focused and able to work in a collaborative team
Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule
Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skills
Ability to lift/carry up to55 lbs.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience communicating with supervisors and co-workers in a team environment.
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus
Knowledge of various pieces of high tech manufacturing processing and packaging equipment.
Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:
Frequent movements include walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present
Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime
Routinely climbing stairs and ladders while performing the duties of this role.
