Highlights from the 2014 Agribusiness HR Review: 95% said that the average increase received by employees during the last 12 months is 2.6-3%, a 3% increase. But salaries aren’t the only thing increasing. In the next two years, 53% of participants expect their workforce to increase in size. Top means to reach prospective applicants: Employee referrals/networks 79%; Industry-specific job boards 71%; Social media sites 63%. And good news for recent graduates….60% of companies plan to do more graduate recruitment in the next 1-5 years. This is mostly due to competition for talent (67%).
