Canadian Agribusiness Job Report:  Employers – More than 16,000 Canadian applications were processed through AgCareers.com in 2013.  Fifty-six percent of applicants had a bachelor’s degree or higher and 40% had 10-plus years of experience.  The full job report also documents applicants by region and occupation, and details trends in jobs postings by region, career and industry type.

Experience:  43% of Canadian applicants’ most recent occupation was ag related; 44% of Canadian applicants’ most recent occupation was non-ag related; 9% were students and 2% were not specified.  Applicant Years of Experience:  40% had 10-plus years of experience, 13% had 6-9 years of experience and 38% had 1-5 years of experience, 9% had less than 1 year of experience.
