A7 Ranches Ltd. located at 2441, 306 Ave W. Okotoks, AB T1S 1A2, is seeking a Polo Horse stable foreman. English speaking workplace. Permanent, full-time.

Wage: $30.00/hour

Education: four year degree (agriculture)
Experience: 5-10 years working with Polo Horses

Duties:
Manage and maintain the daily care and feeding schedule for all polo horses. Train and exercise polo horses to ensure they are fit, responsive, and well prepared for games an tournaments. Develop and implement training programs for young or inexperienced horses to build their skills and adaptability for polo. Coordinate with veterinarians, farriers and other equine professionals to maintain horses’ health and performance. Groom, tack and prepare horses before practices and matches. Maintain cleanliness and organization of stables, tack rooms and equipment. Assist in transporting horses to and from polo matches and events. Manage horse rotation and scheduling during practices and tournaments. Expose clients to polo horses and provide polo horse instruction. Work with the Calgary Polo Club. Any and all duties related to polo horses.

Weekend work is required. (Polo matches, working with clients)
