Animal Medical Centers (AMC) in Spencer and Hartley, Iowa, and Edgerton Veterinary Clinic in Edgerton, MN are looking for a Clinic Sales & Support Specialist to support our growing clients.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads
• Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product and service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs
• Educate customers about how products work and when to use them, along with services available based on their individual needs and veterinarian recommendations
• Provide customer feedback to veterinarians regarding herd health plans and health issues
• Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise
• Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, rebate programs, and enhancements that may be of interest
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems
• Provides periodic territory sales forecasts
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Flexibility to work with customers inside and outside the traditional 8:00-5:00 M-F work week
• Travel to customer sites required
  • Knowledge and execution of farm biosecurity practices is necessary to ensure the health and safety of customer livestock.

Education and Experience:

• At least three years of sales experience required 
• Background in livestock industry preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field beneficial but not required
