SUMMARY: Assumes responsibility for all fertilizer orders from customers or salespersons and handles all receipt of incoming fertilizer. Also, performs all clerical work associated with the same.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Receives fertilizer orders from customers, salespersons or custom applicators.
Provides customer service regarding shipments, orders, etc.
Schedules Helena s trucks for shipment of fertilizer to customers.
Schedules fertilizer equipment to be delivered to customers.
Prepares scale tickets to ship fertilizer.
Prepares delivery tickets sent to fertilizer plant to blend fertilizer for customers orders.
Handles all incoming trucks by weighing loaded and unloaded into the plant.
Orders fuel for location and depot.
Runs fertilizer analysis on Form-U-Share for blends.
Assists Branch Secretary on collection documents, backing up computer and other clerical duties.
Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Reliable and regular attendance is expected.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises fertilizer plant employees in the absence of Fertilizer Plant Manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent or five years experience or training in the fertilizer field.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Computer skills including spreadsheet software.
Good communications skills.
