Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in food manufacturing
- Experience managing plant utility systems, including ammonia refrigeration, steam, nitrogen, natural gas, and compressed air
- Process Safety Management (PSM) experience preferred
- Experience managing multi-million dollar capital projects and budgets
- Continuous Improvement experience required
- Strong leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with plant leadership and corporate teams


Job Description:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a leading food manufacturing company who is searching for an experienced Plant Engineering Manager for one of its flagship facilities located in Wisconsin. This highly visible leadership position reports directly to the Plant Manager and plays a key role in driving plant performance, capital improvement projects, maintenance excellence, and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing short- and long-term engineering strategies, managing capital improvement projects, overseeing plant utility systems, and supporting maintenance and reliability initiatives. The Plant Engineering Manager will work closely with Safety, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and Finance teams to improve automation, production efficiencies, safety, and cost performance.

Additional responsibilities include managing utility operations, supporting process safety programs, developing capital budgets and project plans, and providing technical leadership to support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
