This is a hands-on position for someone who understands that farm work involves more than operating equipment. The right person will be equally willing to operate a planter, assist with irrigation, perform maintenance and repairs, handle grain and chemicals, and help wherever needed to keep the operation running efficiently. This is a family farming operation where the employee will work around the employer, other employees, and family members. The successful candidate must communicate well, work cooperatively with others, and be willing to adapt as priorities change throughout the day and season. The employer is looking for a long-term employee who takes ownership of their responsibilities and can recognize what needs to be done without waiting to be told every step.

·       Assist with other general farm duties as needed throughout the year

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       5-10 years of solid crop production and farm equipment experience preferred

·       Strong experience operating planters and seeding equipment required

·       Experience operating modern agricultural equipment and precision technology
