JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a qualified CDL Truck Driver (Agricultural) for a progressive and expanding family farming operation located in Minnesota. The employer is seeking a dependable individual with an agricultural background who is interested in becoming a long-term member of a growing operation. Primary responsibilities include hauling grain during harvest, transporting fertilizer during the spring season, and operating hopper-bottom trailers in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining assigned equipment, and assisting with routine truck service and maintenance. This is primarily a local driving position with drivers home most evenings. During the spring fertilizer season (generally April through May), occasional overnight trips may be required, typically limited to one or two nights at a time. Otherwise, drivers can expect to return home most evenings. Candidates with general farming experience will have the opportunity to assist with farm operations during slower trucking periods, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys agriculture as well as commercial driving. The employer is looking for a self-motivated, dependable individual with a strong work ethic who takes pride in maintaining equipment, operating safely, and becoming an important part of a growing family farming operation.
