Agricultural Sales Representative

This position is hybrid/remote but you must be within 1-2 hour driving distance of Columbia, MD.

Green Intelligence Agriculture USA Inc. is developing a technology-focused agricultural business in Maryland. Our plans include greenhouse and hoop house design and materials, related supplies, and the wholesale sale of vegetables, flowers, seedlings, and other agricultural products.

We are seeking one experienced agricultural sales professional to lead sales and business development across these product areas.

What You’ll Do

• Find new customers and manage the sales process from first contact through orders and follow-up.
• Build relationships with growers, supermarkets, grocery buyers, wholesalers, distributors, and other agricultural customers.
• Develop sales channels and marketing outreach for greenhouse materials, growing supplies, and agricultural products.
• Coordinate with the company and suppliers on customer needs, pricing, orders, and delivery.
• Email a brief summary of each day’s sales activities to the company contact each evening.
• Primarily field-based; daily office attendance is not required. In-person meetings at the company office may be scheduled on Fridays, as needed, to review work progress, discuss challenges, and develop solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of agricultural product sales experience; 2–4 years is preferred.
• Experience developing customers and closing sales in agriculture. Established buyer or distributor relationships are a plus.
• Strong communication, customer service, and independent work skills.
• Reliable personal transportation for customer visits.
• Professional working English is required. Chinese, Korean, or Spanish is a plus.

Compensation

• Base salary of $50,000–$70,000 per year, plus sales commission.
• Commission terms will be set out in a separate written agreement upon hire.
