Office in Waterloo. 2 – 4 days per week travel within Southwestern ON.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical on-farm service support for existing feed clients, providing services as required.
  • Flock health observations
  • Feed Scheduling
  • On farm assessments (e.g., ventilation, feed, water)
  • Barn management
  • Program compliance auditing
• Resolve issues that arise with clients in a prompt manner.
• Represent the company at industry trade shows and events.
• Complete, present and review performance results for clients.
• Managing customer database.
• Other duties as assigned.
  • Supporting role in ingredient and feed quality control.
  • Assist in research trials.

Abilities Required:

• Strong commitment to poultry production excellence and operational growth.
• Self-motivated, independent, and enthusiastic.
• Strong communication skills to demonstrate value of services with existing and prospective customers.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, analytical thinker and able to operate in a fast-paced work environment.
• Computer skills required for documenting customer results and reporting to management.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications:

• University Degree/College Diploma, Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in sales or animal nutrition would be an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Fluency in English.
• Possess a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
