The Information Technology Development Program Internship (ITDPi) provides aspiring information technology (IT) professionals with a unique experience in corporate IT. Over the course of the 12-week program, interns sharpen their skills through a variety of experiences including ownership of daily responsibilities, participation in special projects, and completion of a cross-functional community service project. Internship roles are modeled after individual Information Technology Development Program rotations and are designed to challenge interns to learn, adapt, and add value to their teams. Information Technology interns who excel in the Internship Program will be considered for the Information Technology Development Program or other full-time IT positions.
As interns enter the program, each is assigned a peer mentor to help introduce them to Takeda’s corporate culture and the values and goals of the ITDPi. Through formal training and on-the-job experiences, the ITDPi is committed to developing interns’ information technolgy, leadership and teamwork skills while exposing them to Takeda’s technologies, product lines and global markets.
