How you’ll make an impact

  • As a Senior Relationship Manager, you’ll lead a complex portfolio of agriculture customers, building trusted, long-term partnerships and delivering tailored financial solutions that drive their success.
  • Operating as a strategic advisor, you’ll apply strong financial expertise and business acumen to structure sophisticated lending arrangements, assess risk and identify growth opportunities across your portfolio.

What you’ll do

  • Work with customers to build financing packages that meet their business needs
  • Be accountable for the execution of loans, including sales, loan structure, gathering and preparing financial documentation, securing approvals, and collaborating with internal teams to successfully complete financing
  • Lead complex lending solutions, including advanced financial analysis, credit risk assessment and structured financing, while coordinating and collaborating with internal teams to deliver successful outcomes
  • Mentor and coach team members, supporting consistency and excellence
  • Build relationships with FCC customers and internal partners
  • Identify opportunities to build your loan portfolio
  • Travel to customer operations to understand their business and provide tailored advice
  • Build your presence in the local ag community through networking, industry events and partnerships

 

What you’ll bring to the team

Required qualifications:

  • Degree in agriculture, business, commerce or a related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in ag finance, lending, credit analysis, business development or sales (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience managing or supporting complex customer portfolios, including structuring financing solutions
  • Strong financial analysis and credit risk assessment skills, including interpreting financial statements and developing lending recommendations
  • Sound judgment and decision-making within established frameworks
  • Proven ability to build and maintain business relationships with customers, centres of influence and community partners
  • Experience developing and executing business development or sales strategies
  • Valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel
  • Passion for agriculture, with knowledge of farming operations or agribusiness environments

  • Customer service experience, ideally in a financial, agricultural or advisory setting
