Agrellus appoints Dr. Kevin Sargent as Account and Protocol Manager to support marketplace expansion and research programs. His leadership aims to connect farmers, retailers, and manufacturers while advancing data-driven agricultural solutions.

Agrellus, a growing company in agricultural technology and marketplace solutions, announces the appointment of Dr. Kevin Sargent as Account and Protocol Manager. The company welcomes him during an important stage as it continues expanding its Marketplace and Proving Ground trial programs.

Dr. Sargent brings more than twenty years of experience in livestock production, agricultural research, and education. Before joining Agrellus, he served as an Assistant Professor at Southeast Missouri State University. Throughout his career, he has focused on helping farmers apply research and data in practical ways. His ability to connect scientific knowledge with real farm needs makes him a strong addition to the company’s leadership team.

His background also includes success in securing more than $430,000 in funding and equipment for agricultural programs. This achievement highlights his dedication to supporting innovation and creating opportunities that benefit the agricultural industry.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Kevin to the Agrellus family,” said Taven Royster, Vice President of Revenue and Business Development. “At Agrellus, we believe in blending cutting-edge technology with real-world farming insight. Kevin’s deep scientific background, paired with his heart for serving others, makes him the perfect leader to help us drive revenue back to the farm and empower American agriculture.”

In his new role, Dr. Sargent serves as a key connection between farmers, retailers, and manufacturers. As Account Manager, he helps strengthen relationships and increase engagement within the Agrellus Marketplace. As Protocol Manager, he oversees crop and livestock research trials, using data analysis and management skills to support reliable results.

“I am a firm believer that when you prioritize the people you serve over the profits that can be made, it changes the whole game,” Dr. Sargent noted. “I look forward to leveraging digital tools and data-driven insights to provide white-glove service to our partners and continue the mission of making a measurable impact in the lives of growers.”

Agrellus, headquartered in Lubbock, Texas, continues to build digital tools that help farmers, retailers, and energy and agriculture supply chains. The company’s platform focuses on using data from every acre to create financial value and support long-term sustainability in modern agriculture.
