About the role
We are looking for a Rural Products Sales Manager to join the growing team on a permanent, full time basis.
As an Elders Rural Products Sales Manager, your expert product knowledge and customer service skills will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including finding new opportunities for them to explore. Based in Longreach this role will also look after the Barcaldine and Aramac branches, managing the Rural products teams in these locations.
You will be a strong leader with demonstrated people management and merchandise operational skills. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.
As a key member and leader within the branch, you will enjoy a varied day including:
Develop and manage merchandise business plans and budgets
Lead Rural Products teams across multiple locations, with travel required when necessary
Meet key performance indicators and expenditure targets
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, recommending the Elders range of products and services that will strengthen the growth of their business
Proactively source new business to achieve KPI's and targets
To excel at Elders, you:

Extensive sales experience and a successful sales record in a rural products business
Committed to the provision of high-quality customer service
Possess extensive knowledge of agriculture products, the region and our competitors
Have an ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with current and future clients
Valid Australian drivers license.
