Western Region Manager – Full-Time

Location: Remote (must reside within the Western region)
Territory: California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho
Travel: Required, not to exceed 50%
Position Overview:
The Western Regional Manager is responsible for creating demand for the Drexel brand with distributors across the West Coast market while driving pull-through with key retailers and cooperatives throughout the region.
This role currently leads two Sales Representatives, with additional headcount expected as the business grows. The Regional Manager will also carry out key account responsibilities. This is a strong opportunity to build a team and grow a business as Drexel increases its focus on the West Coast.
Core Responsibilities:
- Uphold the Drexel organizational principles
- Develop and execute a regional business plan that delivers growth.
- Identify focus products for alignment with Marketing to support campaigns that focus on driving growth in the Western Region.
- Be a mentor and coach for regional sales team by providing professional growth opportunities while helping each team member properly manage work life balance.
- Coach the sales team to focus on the right opportunities, provide the information and direction needed for productivity
- Support the sales team in managing inventory (limited time allocation; the team will work from the forecast in partnership with customer service)
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the territory
- Deliver pricing feedback, direction and manage in-season pricing exceptions
- Build accurate sales forecasts
- Actively participate in sales leadership meetings by being a “voice of the field”
- Attend trade shows and industry meetings

Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business or a related field; Masters/MBA preferred but not required
- Experience managing people
- 10+ years of experience in the Agricultural business (Crop Protection experience preferred)
