AgCareers.com Announces Four Collegiate Ambassadors for fall 2015
September 23, 2015

AgCareers.com is excited to welcome our Fall 2015 Collegiate Ambassadors.  The Ambassador Program rotates across several colleges and universities throughout North America which have strong agriculture-related programs. This year marks the 12th, and final, consecutive year of the program for AgCareers.com.  These students act as a liaison between AgCareers.com, AgCareers.com’s partnership clients, and the student body at their individual institutions.  During the Fall 2015 semester, ambassadors will educate their peers about the numerous career and internship opportunities posted on AgCareers.com by partnership clients, as well as important skills needed to achieve their ideal career in the agriculture industry.   Please join AgCareers.com in welcoming our new AgCareers.com Ambassador Team:

Linque Martin is a sophomore majoring in animal science at Tuskegee University. Linque currently serves as the business manager for the Tuskegee chapter of Minorities in Agriculture Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS).  During the summer of 2015, Linque served as the summer intern for the MANRRS National Office in Atlanta, GA.  As a member and intern with MANRRS, Linque has learned a great deal about agricultural stakeholders and the opportunities available to minorities with an interest in STEAM-related fields. She hopes to apply the experience and network from MANRRS to help students learn more about opportunities available to them through AgCareers.com.  In addition to serving an AgCareers.com ambassador, Linque also works on campus at the Caprine Unit.  In this role, she assists in research projects involving common parasites that affect livestock. By working on the farm, Linque has gained hands on experience with different breeds of livestock as well as the zoonotic parasites that greatly affect livestock production. She looks forward to working with the AgCareers.com team this year as Tuskegee University's first student ambassador.
