Accountable to ensure the LATAM Supply Chain data analytics structure is in place to provide stakeholders with consistent, accurate and timely data insights. This would include defining, maintaining, and executing data governance, and data integrity, along with ensuring the most effective tools are deployed and maintained.

Responsible for access, architecture, and sharing of data across a data domain throughout the organization. Supervises a team of data product owners, system planners, and data analysis.

This individual would also be responsible for designing and implementing data analytic models and publishing periodic reports, allowing stakeholders to interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that result in actionable insights, ultimately driving process and productivity improvements. An agile learner who brings strong problem-solving skills and enjoys working cross functional to address technical, complex data problems.

Responsibilities

o Design, build, and manage the company's data domain and infrastructure.

o Strategically defines a technology roadmap in conjunction with data strategy to technology solutions

o Ensure the architecture supports business requirements.

o Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.

o Exposure to machine learning, data science, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and statistics

o Effectively collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders

o Design and support the data analytics structure (framework/processes/tools) across LATAM Seed Production and Supply Chain

o Standardize digital collection methods and reporting tools for Power BI interfacing to simplify, and streamline data

o Reconcile and ensure accuracy across multiple data systems and environments

o Prepare reports for stakeholders, stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data

o Identify existing data capability and infrastructure gaps or opportunities

o Serve as change management lead for the implementation and support of newly created tools

o Serve as the primary interface with IT, and other departments, to support system selection, maintenance and outages

o Ensuring data quality and integrity by establishing data validation and cleansing processes.

o Contributing to the continuous improvement of data architecture and data management best practices.

o Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science and recommending innovative solutions to enhance the data analysis. Qualificationso Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or adjacent discipline, advanced degree is desirable.

o Minimum of 10 years of experience or equivalent education and experience required.

o Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven relationship-building experience.

o Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.

o Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzing.

o Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

o Project management skills with a strong focus on agile methodologies, demonstrating the ability to understand and manage complex information product constructs.

o Understand how to extract data from SAP according to current processes in place.

o Knowledge of data visualization software like Power BI, Python, Alteryx.

o Strong verbal and Written communication skills.

o Language: Portuguese, English (Spanish desired).

o Project management skills with ability to understand complex information product constructs.
