This is an exciting opportunity for a focused and collaborative candidate to join our highly motivated Research and Development Team. In response to the growth of our global crop protection business, we have two vacancies for a Regulatory Toxicologist within our Regulatory Toxicology & Risk (RTR) function. This position is ideally based in our European Development Centre, near to Oxford, UK but other locations in Europe may be considered.
At Corteva Agriscience, we grow what matters by putting consumers and customers at the heart of everything we do. We recognize that safe and sustainable food is a priority of our consumers, and we’re here to ensure those goals are met. As a Regulatory Toxicologist at Corteva, you will be an integral part of a growing, multidisciplinary team that is responsible for development, registration, and re-registration of new and existing crop protection products.
How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you.
As a member of our Regulatory Toxicology & Risk (RTR) group, you will operate as a Regulatory Toxicology Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will be accountable to develop and lead scientific strategies to deliver global toxicology programs, including an extensive understanding of testing requirements, experimental design, and results interpretation. The SME will have responsibility for design and interpretation of toxicology studies for active substances and end-use products in support of global regulatory submissions. Deliverables include determining critical hazard profiles required to support high quality and scientifically strong safety assessments throughout the entire product life cycle, from new active development to launch and post registration.
The SME will also provide expertise and support for incorporation of robust study summaries and expert positions into the toxicology portion of the registration dossier and author technical responses to regulatory agencies.
Numerous opportunities exist for scientific growth within this collaborative, team-based role, including involvement on cross-active ingredient projects, innovative/alternative & mechanistic toxicity testing approaches and communicating data to a wide variety of audiences.
In this role, you’ll also act as a key liaison with registration colleagues and technical experts across a wide range of disciplines within the company, industry associations and national or international regulatory authorities.
It is an exciting time to join this team as we are expanding and growing.
