Corteva Agriscience is looking for an SAP Architect to be part of the ERP Platform team. The role is responsible for applying business and technical expertise to design, implement and support new business capabilities within the SAP landscape. This role will participate in global projects for multiple Corteva SAP environments including ECC and Corteva’s migration to S/4 HANA. 

The SAP Architect will oversee all aspects of a systems solution, including those targeted towards customer relations, product life cycles and supply chains. Requires analytical and problem-solving skills to craft adaptable, comprehensive solutions that solve complex business problems. This role will work closely with the SAP application and technical teams as well as the HANA S/4 Project Leadership.  

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities - What you will do to help us grow!

  • Translates business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work.
  • Lead the evaluation, design, and analysis of solutions that meet business objectives in a complex multi-tier SAP landscape (ECC & HANA S/4) that adhere to SAP standards and best practices.
  • Validate solutions defined by functional applications teams for efficiency and overall alignment to the SAP landscape.
  • Maintain close contact with SAP regarding solution assistance and technical guidance.
  • Research complex application/System integration issues with functional teams; examine integration between various systems (SAP and non-SAP).
  • Architect activities during upgrades and major releases with multiple stakeholders, working with Change and Release Management teams.
  • Identify and drive the adoption of new SAP technologies that mee the goals of the business for functionality and process standardization.
  • Create detailed solution documentation and presentations.
  • Lead the definition of the solution road map, integrating multiple disparate processes, and addressing short and long-term organizational needs.
  • Provide operational and project support keeping focus on meeting project milestones.


Experience and Education – What you'll bring to the table!

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent understanding of SAP products with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience. We are hiring for 2 open positions. We will consider a little less experience with at least 1 of the positions. With less experience, you will need to have demonstrated a proactive nature of enthusiastical learning.
  • Experience working on SAP large implementation projects including full testing life-cycle and post go-live support.
  • Experience working with Cloud solutions for SAP.
  • Proven track record in evaluation / recommendation of new SAP system components, solutions, releases, or upgrades.
  • Experience developing technical documentation, designing blueprints and technical workshops.
  • Excellent customer service, written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working within a multi-cultural environment.

Team management

  • Able to act independently, seeking consultation guidance and advice as appropriate.
  • Actively to work with external consulting partners.
