Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity with the Regulatory and Stewardship R&D group located in Indianapolis, IN. This One Year Post-Doctoral Research Position is focused on TKTD Modeling the Effects of Herbicides on Aquatic Vascular Plant Populations.
Primary Responsibilities (How will you help us grow and what you will do:)
The Post-Doc will model the effects of herbicides on aquatic vascular plant populations. The successful candidate will have already available to them programming skills (e.g. R, Python, etc) needed to adapt existing or build new models. A variety of modeling and statistical approaches may be used. However, the models must be able to be modified or written to incorporate herbicide effects, primarily herbicide-mediated effects on the aquatic vascular plant Myriophyllum spp. The work products (models) should be able to be validated following internationally accepted principles.
Requirements:
Recent (< 1-5 yrs post doctoral) PhD in relevant areas of ecological modeling e.g. toxicokinetic/dynamic, population, community and/or landscape modeling.
