Role Summary

Responsible forcreating the Corteva IT story and providing content for all manner of executiveand internal IT communications. Accountable for coordinating executive calendars across ITLT.  Maintaining an enterprise-wide strategiclens, understands the importance of timing and sequencing of messaging, andproactively provides content and logistics support to enable Corteva CIO to beeffective, timely and transparent. Actively works to amplify messaging thatsupports CIOs strategic agenda for the IT organization.

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Responsibilities

  • Build a long-term roadmap to execute on communication priorities, defines norms and frequency of engagement on various communication platforms in alignment with Corporate Communications Team.
  • Ensure communication initiatives drive CIO messages with consistency, determine creative ways to pulse-check resonance and impact of executive messaging
  • Build and maintain a CIO and ITLT focused events and communications calendar
  • Lead preparation and planning for Global IT Town Hall meetings and bi-monthly IT leadership meetings to include reservation of rooms and equipment setup
  • Interface with External Affairs to create consistency in messaging 
  • Maintain awareness of ITs objectives, key strategic initiatives to incorporate them in event planning process
  • Aid the CIO with executive presentations, communications, and special projects
  • Create content for board presentations, Global IT communications, the ITLT organization messaging
  • Measure effectiveness of IT centric communication efforts

 

Accountabilities

  • Work with Strategy & Planning peers to gather the relevant statistics and data then craft into compelling vision/story
  • Available for reactive deck updates on an as-needed, real-time basis
  • Ensure alignment with Corporate Communications at all times

Qualifications


Key CompetenciesRequired        

Technical Competencies

  • Content creation across multiple formats and mediums - Audio/Video/Slide Decks
  • Familiarity with the information technology domain
  • Exposure to social media platforms and able to proficiently use these mediums
  • Strong knowledge of MS PowerPoint, MS Office Tools and Outlook 365

 

Leadership Competencies

  • Cross-functional communication and teamwork skills
  • Very Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to craft a story from data that speaks to an overall vision and strategy

 

Experience & Education Required

  • 5+ years of experience in varied executive facing communication centric roles
  • Bachelors in communications/journalism/liberal arts preferred
