What You'll Do:

* Perform a variety of tasks associated with field activities that will evolve with each season throughout the year.

* Provide support and guidance to 3rd party contract conditioners.

* Monitor grower bins and classify based on quality data.

* Complete data entry as required.

* Prepare required documentation for sample processing and shipping.

* Field Mapping support for multiple crops and production areas.

* Generate and monitor P.O.'s for 3rd party contract conditioners and provide support with packaging and labeling requirements.

* Perform administrative procedures, along with all procedures associated with field activities.

* Field responsibilities may include assisting growers with planting, IPM, detasseling coordination, and harvest troubleshooting.

* Ability to help train a diverse group of growers and employees on seed field processes and expectations.

* Involved in the analysis of data collected from digital agronomy tools and strategies.

QualificationsEducation:

* High School Diploma/GED

* Two-Year agricultural diploma or related field of study is highly preferred.

* You have a valid driver's license, so you will be able to drive a company vehicle on assignment when needed.

* You value the safety of yourself and your co-workers and will eagerly participate in safe work practices, on-the-job safety, and work safety programs.

* You are willing to help out and physical work isn't a problem for you (lifting up to 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation included).

* Overtime hours including weekend and shift work as required during peak seasons.

* Knowledge and experience working with corn, soybean, and wheat strongly preferred.

This positions is required to work onsite 5 days a week.
