Corteva Agriscience is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join the Controlled Environments team at our Johnston, Iowa research facility. *This role will be on-site at the Johnston Global Business Center. This role can accommodate a flexible work arrangement where you may work one day a week from home.

Responsibilities - What You Will Do:

* Data Collection and Analysis:

* Collect, clean, validate and analyze data from various sources.

* Streamline data collection and centralize data sources.

* Create and govern data sources to be used as the source of truth for data users.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators.

* Reporting and Visualization:

* Create clear and compelling data visualizations.

* Identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform business decisions.

* Present findings to stakeholders in a concise and actionable manner.

* Other greenhouse tasks as assigned:

* Learn and maintain a knowledge of standard tasks such as plant care, harvesting, and tissue sampling.

* Support greenhouse tasks when necessary and as schedule permits.

QualificationsRequirements - What Skills You Need:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in biology, computer science, statistics, or related field

* Experience using data visualization tools such as Spotfire or PowerBI

* Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills required, especially Microsoft Excel

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Ability to work as a member of a dynamic, diverse, and cross-functional team

* Ability to mentor peers on data and visualization best practices

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferences - What Makes You Stand Out:

* Proficiency in SQL

* Experience with programming languages such as R or Python

* Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processing

* Experience in a high-throughput laboratory or greenhouse setting

* Background or interest in biology, genetics, or agriculture
