Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lab Microbiologist at Certis Biologicals in Columbia, MD. The Lab Microbiologist will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and experiments, analyzing data, maintaining quality control measures, operating laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards. The role requires strong knowledge and hands on training in microbiology laboratory techniques.

 

Qualifications

  • Laboratory Skills: Experience in conducting laboratory tests and experiments, maintaining sterile conditions, and analyzing data
  • Quality Control: Knowledge and understanding of quality control measures, protocols, and standards in a laboratory setting
  • Laboratory Equipment: Proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Microbiology: Good knowledge and understanding of microbiology theories, techniques, and analytical procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Familiarity with quality assurance practices and procedures in a laboratory environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field
  • Prior experience in a laboratory or research setting is preferred
