Job Description:


Responsible for the development and achievement of the organization s marketing plan.



  •     Oversees the execution of the organization s marketing plan
  •     Leads the development of a brand strategy including the development, implementation and enhancement of the dealer brand (including special events, recruitment events)
  •     Implements the dealership s marketing strategies by leveraging resources aligned with the dealership s values, mission, and goals
  •     Leads the development, communication, and assessment of marketing tactics (e.g. advertising, promotions, incentives, events, etc.) that reach targeted prospects
  •     Defines and manage advertise budget; develop monthly, quarterly, and annual advertising activities (e.g. TV, radio, newspaper, internet, social media, etc.) s
  •     Develop layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, digital media, etc.
  •     Producing and editing content like social media posts, videos, e-books, infographics, presentation decks and webinars
  •     Leads the development and implementation of a merchandising and display strategy
  •     Places orders to accurately stock regular and seasonal merchandise for the showroom
  •     Creates and executes showroom marketing plans that cover whole goods, parts and service with showroom displays and video display content
  •     Order and distribute promotional materials for the dealership (i.e. banners, pamphlets, brand apparel etc.)
  •     Acts as a liaison between the dealership and manufacturers marketing personnel and leverages manufacturing marketing resources
  •     Ensures appropriate marketing and public relations communications for all departments
  •     Monitors market trends and may also utilize customer insight technologies such as JD AIM/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications to gain deeper customer understanding
  •     Defines customer segments and determines how to pursue segments through targeted solutions and services required
  •     Updates customer data to ensure accurate records such as addresses for mailing lists
  •     Implements a customer relationship process that will achieve and maintain dealership loyalty
  •     Defines and manages the customer experience process (e.g. customer focus groups, customer satisfaction surveys, etc.)
  •     Manages the recruiting efforts for the organization including building relationship with local schools.
  •     Ensures appropriate communication with customers, staff, other departments and manufacturer personnel


   Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

  •      Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group
  •      Familiar with John Deere and competitive products
  •      Proven ability to lead and inspire others
  •      Ability to use Deere sales computer applications and tools
  •      Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
  •      Bachelor s Degree in business or marketing or equivalent experience preferred
  •      Deadline-oriented and attention to detail
  •      Experience with computer-aided graphic design
