Principal Accountabilities:
Safely operate industrial forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move, store, load, and unload materials within production and warehouse areas.
Handle irregular, bulky, or palletized materials, including loading trucks and stacking product in high racks or storage locations.
Interacting with truck drivers
Review and complete production shipping and receiving documentation, and enter material movement data into computerized systems.
Maintain a clean, organized work area by disposing of waste using compactors or balers, and following all safety and lockout procedures.
Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or variable shifts with advance notice.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Must be able to perform physical job duties with or without reasonable accommodation: bending, kneeling, lifting 50 pounds, climbing, crawling, and twisting
Ability to work in elevated areas(4 feet or above)
Must be able to read/write English
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience operating forklift
Basic computer skills
Ability work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Inventory systems knowledge
Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
Basic mechanical experience
Prior experience in production related work
