Job Purpose and Impact

The Director, Plant Planning and Execution role will direct master planning, material requirements planning and production planning for a team assigned to a group of production locations within Starches, Sweetners &Texturizers (SST) and Edible Oils businesses. In this role, you will provide guidance by ensuring integration of manufacturing plans, processes and programs and overseeing all master production, production scheduling and material requirements planning for a large team across a large network with high planning complexity.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop strategies set forth from the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Planning Process, focus on short-term planning, production and material requirements for 0-12 weeks in planning horizon.
  • Monitor Supply & Demand from production and actual demand, identify gaps of inventory, and prioritize critical customer demand.
  • Monitor Exceptions from late production, inventory stockouts, supply delays, and logistics/transportation disruptions.
  • Align priorities with Plant Supply Chain Team, Supply & Inventory Team, Operations, FSQR, Procurement, Sales, Product Line Management and Transportation Leadership for flow between IBP and tactical execution activities.
  • Oversee S&OE Formal Process, meet weekly and/or as any escalation/risk in the near term of critical shortages, revenue opportunities and immediate actions to execute on priorities, constraints and decisions.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Ten years of experience with at least five in material requirements planning, master production planning, or production scheduling.
  • Three years of supervisory experience.


Additional Details

• Location: MN-Wayzata preferred/Open to remote; Relocation support may be provided.

• The expected salary for this position is $160,000-$190,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
