For Mikayla Pozzobon, a recent graduate of the U of G’s Food and Agricultural Business program, curiosity was the spark that ignited a global career in agribusiness. Mikayla didn’t grow up on a farm. Raised in Toronto, her interest in agriculture began in high school when she started exploring where her food came from.
“Working in agriculture and food is incredibly fulfilling,” says Mikayla. “I’m helping feed the world. The work I do has a global impact, and that’s what excites me most about this industry.”

“I loved how the food and agri-business program combined business concepts with practical, hands-on experiences. It gave me the tools to understand the complexities of agriculture and the business side of food production, locally and globally.”
