AgCareers is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the fourth annual Feed Your Future Scholarship, awarding $1,000 to a Canadian post-secondary student passionate about a future in agriculture or food related careers.
“This scholarship reaffirms our commitment to ‘Feeding the World with Talent’ by supporting educational advancement and fostering impactful career pathways in the agriculture and food sectors. Having already awarded six scholarships in previous years, we are proud to continue investing in the future of our industry,” said Bonnie Johnson, Marketing & Communications Manager, AgCareers.
The #FeedYourFuture Scholarship was developed to provide financial assistance to students pursuing or planning to pursue careers in agriculture. Eligible applicants must be currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution and have at least one semester of study remaining after 2025.
The application includes brief essay responses to questions such as, “How are you going to do your part in feeding the world with your talent?” This year’s prompts aim to explore students’ visions for the future of the agri-food industry, including their passion, projects and the role of emerging technologies like AI.
The scholarship application will be open to submissions on August 15th and will close on November 17th, 2025. To be considered for the scholarship, students must be currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary educational institution and have at least one semester left after 2025. AgCareers will select the recipient on December 19th, 2025.
