The 2026 Farm Progress Show Career Crawl, presented by AgCareers, gives students and recent graduates a show-wide opportunity to connect with agriculture employers, explore career paths, and access job search resources.

The 2026 Farm Progress Show Career Crawl, presented by AgCareers, will give students and recent graduates a unique way to connect with agriculture employers while experiencing one of the nation’s largest outdoor farm shows.

Taking place September 1–3 in Boone, Iowa, the Career Crawl is open to students and recent graduates from universities, community colleges, technical schools, and agricultural certification programs.

What is a Career Crawl?!

Unlike a traditional career fair held in one confined space, the Career Crawl is a show-wide experience. Job seekers can walk the Farm Progress Show alongside other attendees while visiting participating exhibitors throughout the grounds. This allows students to learn about companies directly from employees representing their brands at the show, including HR managers and other team members who can share insights into company culture, career paths, and open roles.

The Career Crawl turns the Farm Progress Show into more than an industry event. It creates an opportunity for job seekers and employers to connect in a real-world agriculture setting. Students can explore participating exhibitor booths, ask questions, learn about different career paths, and apply to open positions through AgCareers.

Job Seekers: How to Register

Students who register in advance will receive complimentary admission to all three days of the Farm Progress Show. Once onsite, participants can visit the AgCareers booth in the Varied Industries Tent to pick up Career Crawl materials, access career resources, and learn more about opportunities across the agriculture and food industries.

Through AgCareers, students can search current job openings, upload their resume to the AgCareers Resume Database, and receive a copy of the Food and Agriculture Career Guide. A Career Crawl map will also be available through the Farm Progress Show mobile app to help participants plan their route and connect with participating employers.
