Systems Analyst
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Systems Analyst, are to:
- Develop, configure, implement, and maintain general computer applications software, specialized utility programs, and hardware systems;
- Verify adherence to the company’s standards for software and hardware platforms, and advise stakeholders on software policies and best practice;
- Complete the upgrade of existing computer systems, or the installation of new systems;
- Manage vendors/contractors to accomplish Information Technology (IT)/process control tasks and projects safely and efficiently;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge with current technologies and technical developments;
- Conduct assessments on new platforms to ensure the technology solutions leverage cutting edge integration capabilities;
- Maintain security of internal infrastructure through patch management, firewall configuration, antivirus deployment and maintenance, group policy object management, identity, and access management, etc.;
- Provide training to employees on operation of upgraded or newly installed systems;
- Drive continuous improvement through implementation and configuration of technology solutions;
- Be responsible for documentation of solutions, including user manuals, reference guides, and interface documents including site Business Continuity Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan, and other policies and procedures related to site operations;
- Support cybersecurity of networks by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks through control implementation and hardening;
- Extend and maintain site-specific and Bayer-standard network infrastructure and technologies into new construction projects.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- At least two years of experience in IT administration, operation, and/or cybersecurity;
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills among peers and with senior management at the site and corporate level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field;
- Vendor specific and vendor neutral professional level certifications in IT operation and administration, cybersecurity, project management, and networking (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, ISC2, PMI);
- Experience with C#, .Net Visual Studio, Entity Framework, Database design (Oracle and SQL), PowerShell, JavaScript.
