Senior Labor Coordinator 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Labor Coordinator, are to:   

 

  • Provide guidance to leaders in managing timekeeping, scheduling, and payroll systems;
  • Provide assistance to employees regarding payroll, benefits and timekeeping needs;
  • Be involved in assisting Human Resources Business Partners (HRBS) and HR Coordinators in gathering data for analyses of payroll and timekeeping;
  • Coordinate planning, recruitment and hiring process of full-time and seasonal or contingent labor workforce;
  • Assist with timekeeping processes to address employee and manager questions and issues, research issues and ensure cases are managed to resolution;
  • Lead training of field crew in time-clocking systems, safety, and other Bayer Policies;
  • Facilitate meetings between organizations identifying their labor needs and how to equitably share labor across the site, fully utilizing the Kronos system/database to perform data entry and data-mining as needed, to gather and analyze data for investigations, report-outs and evaluation;
  • Assist with preparing and delivering New Hire Orientation;
  • Participate and assist in site-wide projects;
  • Provide additional special projects support to HR, employees, and managers, as needed.

Required Qualifications: 

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent with at least seven years of related experience OR Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of related experience in timekeeping, staffing, HR, labor coordination;
  • Valid Driver’s license:
  • Ability to work rotational shifts, including over-time, weekend and holiday, as needed;
  • Demonstrated proficiency with labor (employee-employer relations, policies), timekeeping, and payroll concepts;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to lead and participate in a team environment;
  • Organized, with attention to details.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

 

  • Knowledge of HR policy and procedures;
  • Direct or combination of work/academic experience with Business Conduct policies, Recruitment and New Hire Orientations.
