Seed Technician 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Seed Technician (Tuscon, AZ) are:

 

  • Operate equipment and systems leveraging real-time data/technology according to existing procedures;
  • Operate equipment and systems leveraging real-time data/technology according to existing procedures;
  • Alert senior technicians and leadership as needed when non-conformities in product or process variance occurs;
  • Assist in the preparation of key process documentation;
  • Provide support in administrative procedures, documenting key readings, maintenance orders, and production information leveraging data systems;
  • Participate in Team meetings (multiple levels);
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards; 
  • Comply with internal procedures and support compliance with legal requirements applicable to local area;
  • Engage in continuous improvement programs;
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

  

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in related area;
  • Basic knowledge of IT (Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, or facilities with systems;)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license;
  • Ability to work long hours and rotational shifts; including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed;
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written;
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs;
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, walk on uneven surfaces.
