Regulated Compliance Data Analyst (Crop Science R&D) 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Regulated Compliance Data Analyst (Crop Science R&D), are to: 

 

  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources (single or multiple systems);
  • Develop and implement queries/databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality;
  • Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata;
  • Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements;
  • Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization;
  • Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing;
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets;
  • Filter and perform quality assurance of data by reviewing reports/outputs, and key performance indicators to locate and correct code problems;
  • Manage access of data for users and user roles;
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards;
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs;
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities;
  • Contribute to the implementation of the corporate data stewardship strategy.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree;
  • Two or more years of working experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst or similar role;
  • Strong experience in data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques;
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting and visualization packages;
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms;
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics and/or closely related field;
  • Experience utilizing reporting and visualization packages such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and/or Spotfire;
  • Experience accessing data from databases such as SQL or similar;
  • Experience programming with XML, JavaScript, and/or ETL frameworks;
  • Experience utilizing Excel, SPSS, SAS, and/or similar software for statistical analysis;
  • Experience in driving business process towards new digital solutions;
  • Proactive, highly motivated, and flexible with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment;
  • Track record of demonstrating innovation and creativity;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Position may be based in Chesterfield, Missouri or residence-based.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $85,800 to $118,000.? Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).? Additional benefitChriss include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..?
