Marketing Customer Analytics Manager 





This position will provide strategic analyses of customer data from both internal and external sources using structured and unstructured data. Will provide recommendations to address key business opportunities. The role works independently to structure custom approaches to investigate the data and develop repeatable paths. It will support both product categories and branded businesses by framing the customer segment needs, developing insights, and recommending actions to better meet customer expectations. Job responsibilities include the ability to access data, assess its quality, perform quantitative analysis and produce output that is easily consumed by the business managers.


The primary responsibilities of this role, Marketing Customer Analytics Manager are to:


  • Develop customer profiles, prospects, channels, and strategic targeting classifications;
  • Develop or evolve churn/retention models;
  • Provide insight into the drivers of churn and retention;
  • Develop a customer lifecycle model (Lifetime Value) and promote the understanding of this model in the organization.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, marketing research, mathematics, statistics, economics, or social sciences;
  • At least eight years of experience in marketing, business analysis, customer analysis, or CRM analytics;
  • Use tools and languages (R, Python ) to query and analyze larger relational data sets;
  • Will be highly skilled at using Spotfire or Tableau, SPSS, or other statistical software, and Microsoft Office;
  • Strong ability to translate data and analytics into stories, insight, and actionable recommendations;
  • Customer analytics experience supporting a commercial business;
  • Total understanding of predictive modeling and analytics;
  • Customer lifetime value and loyalty programs experience;
  • Agile and able to work in an organization with evolving capabilities.
