FP&A - Sr. Financial Analyst (Environmental Science) 




The primary responsibilities of this role, FP&A Finance Support are to: 


  • Support activities related to the set up and ongoing Region Americas cashflow processes (e.g., planning, reporting, analysis insights) across key Americas entities;
  • Support key activities related to Legal Entity reporting/analysis across key Region Americas entities with particular focus on the U.S.;
  • Be the interface across other functions (Financial Ops, Treasury, Tax, Risk Management and Audit, Product Supply FP&A, Global Functions FP&A) around key topics and processes impacting Region Americas, especially during short/mid term period post launch of new Discovery company;
  • Liaise with 3rd party providers on special topics/ processes impacting key Americas legal entities with particular focus on the U.S.;
  • Provide critical testing, go-live, and Hypercare / related support as part of the roll-out of the new Discovery Co. Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP across key entities in Region Americas;
  • Provide special project/initiative support to Global and Region Americas FP&A as well as Region Americas Leadership team.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
  • 10 years of experience in accounting, finance or related roles;
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and performance management with focus on operating results and cashflow;
  • Proven experience in processes, controls and analysis;
  • Project management experience and ability to influence across multiple stakeholder groups;
  • Excellent presentation, communication and strong analytical skills (ability to make connections and analyze complex data and information);
  • Problem solving mindset, works under pressure, creative thinking, results oriented;
  • Excellent MS-Office skills (Power Point and Excel).


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in Microsoft Dyanmics 365 ERP
