Category Manager, Enabling Functions 




The primary responsibilities of this role, Category Manager Enabling Functions, are to: 


  • Develop, plan and implement global/regional category strategies and procurement sourcing initiatives for all categories IT/Professional Services/Mobility and Work-space/Legal;
  • Understand business needs and engage with global IT, Finance, HR, Legal stakeholders to meet their priorities and requirements and therefore, builds effective trustful, personal and virtual relationships with;
  • Drive global initiatives with key suppliers to reduce cost via continuous improvement;
  • Be responsible for supplier analysis, supplier management (including clustering of suppliers, development of strategic relationships, risk assessment and capability / performance evaluation) and supplier selection within the respective categories;
  • Be accountable for End2End categories including the delegation principle to regional buyer;
  • Develop and maintain contracts for global supplier relation-ships in respective supplier relation-ship;
  • Support sustainability program.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Fully proficient in English;
  • At least five years of a procurement experience in Sourcing of Indirect, with at least two years of a background in procurement of outsourcing of financial services/IT services;
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, influencing and problem solving skills;
  • Ability/experience to lead categories in a global procurement network;
  • Demonstration of ability to lead in times of change with a strategic mindset;
  • Ability to Drive Innovation, continuous improvement and implement sustainability targets with suppliers.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • M.B.A. Master of Science;
  • Other language skills.
