Business Analyst Pricing & Portfolio 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is located in Cary, North Carolina.

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Business Analyst Pricing & Portfolio, are to:

 

  • Utilize established pricing infrastructure (e.g. methodologies, tools, and process) to recommend pricing strategies that maximize value across the product lifecycle;
  • Generate insights to enable real-time management of pricing across business units;
  • Provide insights on pricing trends and recommend actions to maximize value creation;
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to evaluate and advise on various scenarios to inform key strategic business & marketing decisions;
  • Support development and assessment of strategic projects and initiatives across all ES NA businesses (Must-Win-Battles and Key Enablers);
  • Identify significant growth opportunities and risks/threats for all three businesses;
  • Support strategic analysis for formulation of new pricing, product, and E-commerce initiatives;
  • Lead analysis to drive revenue, improve market share, and enhance portfolio performance;
  • Lead delivery of market analysis/modeling, portfolio metric reporting, and operational support related to ES business and portfolio strategies;
  • Provide further insight into ES overall & business strategy by identifying critical questions performing ad-hoc analyses;
  • Provide analytical support for Vegetation Management business;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Head of 1:1 Marketing and Commercial Excellence, NA.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline with at least five years of relevant planning, analytical, and/or consulting experience;
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team to produce actionable insights;
  • Experience in working with complex data including transactional, market, weather, market research, and other data;
  • Extensive knowledge of a variety of statistical and game-theory models and ability to appropriately identify and apply appropriate analyses/models for the relevant business question;
  • Ability to synthesize clear, actionable insights and recommendations from various data sets and insights;
  • Ability to construct clear stories with data and present them to sr. management;
  • Excellent financial, business & marketing acumen.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Master of Business Administration with at least three years of relevant advanced planning, analytical, and/or consulting experience.
