As a subjectmatter expert and experienced reliability specialist, we are relying on you toresponsibly apply reliability methodologies including, but not limited to,Risk-Based Inspections (RBIs), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and RootCause Failure Analysis (RCFA). Your extensive knowledge of reliability tools, practices, and other common equipment associated with a manufacturing facility will be essential as you expedite improvements, optimize costs, and improve overall asset effectiveness.
Working with the Maintenance and Reliability team, you will help drive strategic decisions for the business which will improve the plants overall reliability and asset effectiveness. As an expert in reliability practices, you will help develop a multi-year reliability improvement plan that includes facilitation and execution of capital and expense projects for various operating units at the site to improve asset effectiveness. Leveraging your strong educational and professional background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, you will supply your engineering expertise in the specification, design, and construction of projects in accordance with plant design requirements, BASF standards, and regulatory requirements. Successfully engaging across the organization, you will collaborate with plant operations, maintenance, engineering, and research personnel. Your sound familiarity with instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical equipment will be an asset as you provide technical support to maintenance and operations management, maintenance and reliability specialists, and craftsmen on challenging equipment repair issues.
