Production Laborer

Full-time, Hourly

Pre-Employment Requirements: Successful completion of a pre-employment medical examination and reference check.

Duties & Responsibilities

Cleaning
Sweeping
Vacuuming
Lubrication
Handling containers and bags weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs)
Must be able to progress to a Process Operator position on rotating shifts within 90 days of hire
Perform other duties as required

Complete required tasks in a timely manner
Basic computer and math skills
Must be proactive and participate in food safety programs
Learn and follow company policies and work procedures
Complete required documentation accurately
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to climb stairs and use ladders
Able to sit or stand for extended periods
Comfortable working at heights
Able to bend, kneel, and squat
Able to work in various environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures and dusty environments
Able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required by management

Education and Experience

High School Diploma (DES)
Minimum 6 months of experience

Additional Information

Demonstrated commitment to safety and participation in safety improvement initiatives
Work in compliance with local and provincial regulations
Understands health, safety, and environmental requirements and is responsible for full compliance
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and must be able to maintain that authorization
