This is a full time hourly position

Job Description:

Required to work any shift, overtime, weekends and holidays as needed. The shift schedules include 8-12 hour shifts on a rotational (4-2) schedule.
Perform tasks, including but not limited to:
- General housekeeping- can consist of clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, shoveling, painting, oiling, greasing, lubrication, power washing,
- Material Handling- can consist of shoveling, moving materials by hand, cart, powered industrial trucks.
- Take part in any various Operational/Maintenance Tasks including: Barge Unloading/Loading, covering and uncovering barges, rigging for lifts and Preventative Maintenance.
- This position requires embarking and disembarking a crew boat from dock to Gemini
You will be expected to show an ability to learn functions outside of the general laborer duties to help fill in for temporary or permanent vacancies in other roles (i.e. Utility, Tractor Driver and various Operator grades learn how to operator JLG lifts)
Assist in securing and cutting loose the Gemini on and off vessels.
Assist in tarping and shoveling ship holds.
Working with Tugs, handling cables and chains.
Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture by possessing a safe working attitude, be an active participant in safety programs, learn and follow written rules and procedures, and produce accurate documentation
Required to participate in all Monthly safety trainings and all offered "on the job" trainings.
Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
Must be able to perform daily inspections and maintenance check list,
Work around other moving machinery and work as a cover handler.
Working in the elements outside (heat, cold, and rain)
Walk around barges
Janitorial duties such as sweeping, shoveling, washing etc.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma is preferred
TWIC Card

Physical Requirements

Ability to walk inclines, climb ladders, and stairs
Work on the water with barges/ barge covers and heights
Be on your feet for long hours
