TheRole

An opportunity has arisen for a Treasury Assistant in the City of London, within the Financial Services sector of ADM. This role will support the Treasury function across a broad range of treasury operations, cash management, liquidity monitoring and treasury reporting activities. The position is ideally suited to a candidate with previous treasury or banking experience who is looking to further develop their career within a Treasury and Finance environment.

The main duties of this role will include supporting the Treasury function on a daily basis whilst assisting with cash forecasting, liquidity management and treasury reporting.

Your responsibilities

Main Responsibilities: (8-10 key responsibilities)
  • Full cover of all Treasury team responsibilities
  • Preparation/processing of payment requests, obtaining approvals and ensure payments are made within agreed internal timescales
  • Maintaining bank, client and broker templates/SSI's
  • Processing incoming client payments
  • FX Deliverables - Settlement across multiple currencies
  • Maintain up to date records of receipts and payments transactions
  • Completion of bank reconciliations
  • Monitoring daily cash flow reporting & liquidity management; ensuring regulatory thresholds are maintained
  • Providing bank administrative support
  • Liaise with other stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with AML, Financial Crime, CASS rules
  • Ad hoc duties including but not limited to payments/bank queries.


Your Profile

The successful candidate will posses the following
  • Microsoft Office - Intermediate level
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team to achieve deadlines
  • Good level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of cash management, banking operations and payment processing.
  • GCSE level standard required (minimum Grade 6 for both Mathematics and English)
  • AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA,ACT, or willingness to pursue a relevant professional qualification would be advantageous.
  • 2-3 years' experience within Treasury, Banking Operations, Finance or a Financial Services environment.
