Shipping Verification Operator - Erlanger, KY

This is a full time hourly position

Position Summary:

This role offers an entry-level start for a career with a fast-growing global company committed to advancing the abilities of its employees and promoting from within!! You will be fully trained to complete shipping verification, gmp audit assistance, and label changes. You will also offer support for maintaining supplies and cleanliness.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Follows basic GMP, ISO Procedures, GLP, Safety, Data Entry and/or other electronic record keeping tools.
  • Supporting receiving, shipping and warehousing.
  • Completes work on time and accurately.
  • Utilizes and continues to acquire basic ingredient knowledge.
  • Utilizes and continues to acquire basic product processing knowledge.
  • Able to perform multiple tasks daily, with the flexibility of re-arranging daily workload to accommodate higher priority needs.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required such as;
  • Audit allergen and organic storage locations.
  • Audit shipping accuracy
  • Audit access control
  • Verify label changes are accurate.
  • Communicate with warehousing staff the movement of material when being loaded
  • Identify and address food safety/GMP issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience working in Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, Transportation, Manufacturing, and Production environment, preference for GMP/regulated production exposure.
  • Quality oriented and experience with inspection, swabbing, sampling desired.
  • Great communication skills - both written and verbal and ability to effectively work with teams from various backgrounds/departments.
  • High School, equivalent or degree in related field preferred
  • Bar-code experience
  • Forklift (standup) experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills, (Word and Excel)
  • Self-motivated & commitment to continuous improvement
  • Able to stand, walk, lift, reach and bend throughout 8 hour shift.
