Class A OTR Truck Drivers - (Brownstown) Detroit, MI

Job Summary - Positions available for full time Class A OTR tanker truck drivers. Nights, weekends, and holidays will be required to make timely deliveries to our customers. Valid passport, Tanker and Hazardous Materials endorsements must be obtained prior to hire date.

ADM Trucking Inc. is a food grade transportation company primarily operating smooth bore tank trailers at this location.

The tanker truck driver must be able to plan trips (border crossing, breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic & construction, city and rural driving conditions) and manage unforeseen circumstances. The driver will sit for several hours at a time while operating their equipment. The driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading and transporting product. Equipment can include but is not limited to: smooth bore tank trailers, dry vans, pneumatic, flatbed, and intermodal. Weekly mileages can and do fluctuate.

Essential Job Functions - The individual is required to follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations. This includes but is not limited to FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, DOL & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Preferred Candidate Requirements:

Class A CDL with Tanker & Hazardous Materials endorsements
Valid Passport or passport card

24 years of age

2 years of verifiable OTR or Local experience within the previous seven years

No more than 1 chargeable accident within the last 3 years

No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years

No more than 1 moving violation in the last three years

Any candidate that does not meet these requirements must be approved by management.

Candidates must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, background check and functionality testing.

Relocation assistance is not available with this position.
