Operate all pelleting equipment to pellet mixed meal per ADM ANI specified feed formulation and quality procedures. Pelleting equipment includes, but not limited to, mixed meal delivery equipment, pellet mills and accompanying equipment, and other down stream addition and routing. Good housekeeping is to be maintained at all times.
Work Duties and Required Skills 1.Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values. 2. Follow the production lineup to make all feeds in accordance with ADM ANI established feed formulation and quality guidelines. Requires the ability to follow ADM ANI Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) including, but not limited to, sequencing, flushing and clean-out. 3. Practice good customer service procedures as required by company customer service guidelines. Remember that Customer Service is a top priority at ADM ANI. 4. Must be able to change specified dies and operate all necessary tools which assist in this process. 5. Add necessary liquids or dusting material to pelleted products as specified in the Springfield Plant Product Specifications. 6. Follow all ADM ANI quality assurance guidelines as stated in the Quality Assurance Manual. Work as a team player in the quality process. Notify Plant Supervisor or Plant Manager as necessary, if any out-of-spec quality conditions exist. Must have adequate quality training. 7. Ability to withstand heights such as tops of bins, dust collectors, legs and other equipment which may be located in higher areas of the mill. Must be able to ride the manlift safely and climb ladders. 8. Safely and efficiently operate all necessary equipment at all times (starting, in operation and stopping) in a manner so not to harm yourself, your fellow employees, and the equipment. Follow all established plant safety rules. 9. Work in the most effective and efficient manner at all times. Properly pellet all runs in less or equal to the targeted hours on the Production Lineup with minimal lost time. 10. Work overtime as required. 11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Supervisor or Plant Manager. 12. Fill out necessary paperwork properly, including but not limited to, lost-time reports and pellet logs. 13. Provide training as necessary to train new employees and lesser skilled employees when opportunities arise for them to learn and assume the pellet mill operator position. 14. Follow all plant rules of conduct at all times.
