Your Responsibilities

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our great team. We are looking for someone to continue to drive and ensure operational safety ,efficiency and compliance across out NZ Operations. You will be a people leader supporting store managers and ensuring operations can continue to support the growth and quality of the ADM business. You will work closely with the EHS Manager and manage 3rd party contractors to ensure their service meets ADMs requirements for EHS , efficiency and workmanship. To protect and enhance ADM's competitive advantage through your teams provision of high quality and timely service to the wider marketplace . In addition to this but not limited to;
  • Manage ADM's Environmental Management System, training, reporting, and compliance with national and local body regulations.
  • Manage ADM NZ Storage Operations from product arrival in store to delivery on Farm.
  • Lead and support Store managers in the management of operational staff across all sites on a day to day basis,.
  • Minimize shrink loss year on year and maintain product quality.
  • Able to provide cover for store Managers as required.
  • Continually work to find operational efficiencies .
  • Manage operational assets, and repairs and maintenance schedules.
  • In conjunction with the Execution Manger manage ADM's Transitional Facility operations, training, import documentation, and compliance with New Zealand's biosecurity regulations.
  • Regular visit stores to ensure operational excellence and manage external contractor links.
  • Continually seek innovative ways to improve operational safety and efficiency
Your Profile
  • You are a strong team player, you enjoy working in a role that is diversify and challenging
  • Minium of 5 years experience in Operations Management
  • Further education in Business studies/Agriculture or related fields (desirable)
  • Experience working within a Global organisation (desirbale)
  • Previous experience in bulk commidty supply chains
  • Previous experience in Agriculture (Grain and Feedstuffs) related roles
  • Empathy for rural clients & knowledge of their business drivers
  • Attention to detail, highly organized and self-motivated
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Support oriented
  • Reliable and dedicated attitude.
