Laboratory / QA Tech - Enderlin, ND.
ADM Nutrition
This is a full time, non-exempt position

Shift: 1st - You will be responsible for collecting and distributing samples, running physical testing, and quality assurance related tasks.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Understands most production processes required in the production of edible beans, protein isolates, and starch/fiber coproducts and how it would relate to product quality and food safety.
    • Maintains an effective working relationship with fellow employees.
    • Performs duties in a safe manner, utilizing all approved safety equipment and successfully completes all safety certification requirements.
    • Maintains awareness and adheres to all FDA, GMP, BATF, EPA, OSHA, and employer standards and guidelines.
    • Manages Master Sanitation program, ensures various cleaning chemicals are used and handled in the manner outlined in the manufacturer's chemical literature and Safety Data Sheet.
    • Recommends solutions to correct deficiencies or improve work and operational practices.
    • Conducts environmental monitoring (swabbing), remediation activities related to environmental findings, and verifies efficacy of related follow-up efforts.
    • Participates actively in training.
    • Reports to work in a condition to be able to perform all duties.
    • Practices proper personal hygiene.
    • Conducts GMP and sanitation related internal audits, provides feedback on corrections and follow-up reviews of corrective action efficacy.
    • Familiarizes themselves with the hazards in their work area and how to protect themselves.
    • Understands that accidents are preventable and that safety is everyone's responsibility.
    • Commitment to company's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures.
    • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
Educational and Experience Requirements: HS/AAS degree in any science related field, BA/BS nice to have Computer entry and/or typing skills are desirable. Prolonged periods of standing and sitting Working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders Working in variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust etc.), lift up to 30lbs unassisted Willing to work alternating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
