ADM is a global leader in human and animal nutrition, unlocking the power of nature to enrich quality of life. We are seeking a Junior Procurement Administrator to join our Procurement Hub in Spain, supporting the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services across multiple ADM entities.
In this role, you will support end-to-end procurement activities, working closely with Hub Buyers, plant teams, and suppliers. You will play a key part in ensuring efficient Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, supplier coordination, and compliance with global procurement policies. This role is a contract role for approximately 9 months.
Key Responsibilities
Issue RFQs in line with Hub Buyer instructions
Review long-term and short-term supplier agreements
Support Purchase Order (PO) queries and follow-ups
Liaise with vendors, requisitioners, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
Support implementation of strategic sourcing contracts
Ensure compliance with Global Non-Commodity Procure-to-Pay policies
Assist in tracking procurement KPIs (PO cycle time, on-time delivery, etc.)
Support reporting activities for stakeholders
Participate in supplier business review meetings and track action plans
Partner with Shared Services to ensure timely invoice payments
Support cost reduction initiatives and identify savings opportunities
Assist in reviewing Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and converting them into POs
Help resolve issues related to pricing, logistics, delivery discrepancies, and contracts
Support invoice resolution and supplier communications
Contribute to demand planning for raw materials and ingredients
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with operations to optimise stock and working capital
Skills & Experience
1-3 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative roles
Understanding of Procure-to-Pay (PR-PO) processes
Experience working with ERP systems is an advantage
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
